A crusader among men
No prince, but a warrior
Battling demons
In a great raging sea.
There lived too
A phoenix
A near-immortal healer
Protecting those it loved
With tears of great power.
One fateful day they met
The warrior and the phoenix
And as he fought
She wept for him
Healing his deepest wounds.
Theirs was a partnership
Spanning continents
And lifetimes
A story spread through creation
As a tale of love and bravery.
